ABX is a young, fast-growing chemical and pharmaceutical company based in Saxony, Germany. We are the global market leader in the production of precursors and kits for PET diagnostics. These are mainly used in the detection of tumours by positron emission tomography (PET).ABX currently employs over 360 people. Due to our strong market position we have a continuous profitable growth. Since 2007 we have been part of a large Japanese pharmaceutical group.We are looking for a laboratory assistant (m/f/d) to work in the production department as soon as possible.

Qualification

  • Completed training as laboratory assistant (m/f/d), chemical laboratory assistant (m/f/d) or comparable professions
  • Experience in the production area, especially in rooms, is an advantage
  • Knowledge of GMP/ISO environment desirable
  • Good comprehension and quick familiarisation with new processes
  • Communication skills, patience and perseverance
  • SIndependent and organised way of working
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexibility

Task

  • Carrying out chemical syntheses and purifications for precursors and excipients
  • Carrying out filtration, precipitation, isolation and drying of bulk materials
  • Control of environmental monitoring
  • Conscientious keeping of accompanying documentation
  • Carrying out cleaning work (equipment, product parts, rooms)
