ABX is a young, fast-growing chemical and pharmaceutical company based in Saxony, Germany. We are the global market leader in the production of precursors and kits for PET diagnostics. These are mainly used in the detection of tumours by positron emission tomography (PET).ABX currently employs around 400 people. Due to our strong market position we have a continuous profitable growth. Since 2007 we have been part of a large Japanese pharmaceutical group.
 We are looking for a technician (m/f/d) for the production area as soon as possible.

Qualification

  • Completed vocational training preferably as an electrician/mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or comparable
  • Experience in the operation and repair of technical equipment in the production area
  • Experience in handling measuring devices and carrying out calibration tasks
  • Good comprehension and quick familiarisation with new processes
  • Communication skills, patience and perseverance
  • Independent and organised way of working

Task

  • Carrying out maintenance / repair and calibration work according to planning 
  • Carrying out preventive equipment checks
  • Assistance with installations, commissioning, (re-)qualification of new or existing equipment 
  • Conscientious keeping of accompanying documentation for the tasks listed above
  • Maintenance of the technical equipment logs
  • Preparation and checking of maintenance and calibration documents
