ABX is investing in the future: By expanding our site on Pillnitzer Street in Radeberg, we are creating new capacities and strengthening regional value creation.A key part of this project is the remediation of a historically contaminated site that was formerly used for glass manufacturing. Thanks to funding from the European Union and the Free State of Saxony, the area is being decontaminated in an environmentally responsible manner and prepared for sustainable future use.
What does the project involve?
▶ Demolition and removal of existing buildings
▶ Soil replacement and safe disposal of contaminated materials
▶ Professional containment and management of remaining residual contamination
Our goals:
▶ Safe and healthy working conditions
▶ Modern, energy-efficient production facilities
▶ Renaturalization of at least 15% of the site area
This project marks an important milestone in our long-term development strategy and sends a strong signal for sustainable industrial growth in Saxony.
